Green teas are primarily consumed in Asia but are becoming more and more popular in the west. After picking, a heat source is used to destroy the enzymes that cause oxidation (hence the leaves remain green). Green tea is light, refreshing and lower in caffeine than black teas. You will also be impressed by its taste when you consume loose green tea which is not just a higher quality but also much fresher. It is a real treat when you just want to relax and clear your mind.
